What is an "On Demand" Online Seminar ?
Every HSM Online Seminar begins as a "live" event with the featured speaker making a presentation over the Internet at the date and time announced for the event. Registered participants attending the live online seminar at the agreed time have the opportunity to view presentation and ask their questions in real time to the speaker via live chat as well as receive answers during the event.

Following the live online seminar, the entire session and materials are made available pre-recorded for viewing "On Demand" anytime. 

Registering for an "On Demand" online seminar allows you to attend the session and view the contents of the seminar on your own time.


How are people using On Demand HSM Online Seminars?
On Demand online seminars are the perfect solution to fit busy schedules. They allow you to participate in a high-value concentrated learning session even if you cannot fit the live event into your schedule. Additionally, On Demand viewing allows you to register for a pre-recorded event at any moment and immediately view the contents of the presentation regardless of the time and date.

Will I be able to keep a copy of the presentation for review after the webinar?
Yes. Each HSM Online Seminar registration includes access to the entire contents and materials for the event both at the time of the live event and for one full year following registration. This extended viewing period On Demand allows for reviewing calmly the contents while you implement all the learnings covered.

TECHNICAL QUESTIONS

What equipment do I need?

For the Internet connection:
• PC or Mac: 733Mhz Pentium III or equivalent
• 56K Dial-up Modem or faster such as cable modem or DSL
• Operating system: Windows Vista, XP, 2000, Mac OS X, Linux
• Browser: For optimal viewing experience, we recommend using Internet Explorer 6.0 or higher. However, any version of IE 4.0 or higher will work. For Firefox versions 2.0 +
• Make sure any pop-up blocking software is disabled.
• Display set at 1024 x 768 +
• Mac users are encouraged to use Firefox 2.0 (or later) with Real Player to view the webcast.

For the audio connection:
Sound card with speakers. A computer with Real Player or Windows Media Player installed. When you log into the Webinar, your computer will be taken through a brief configuration check and will let you know if you're missing any software.

If you do not have Real or Windows Media Player, please follow the instructions and link included below to download and install them.

A touch-tone telephone will work also to listen to the audio portion. If you opt to use a telephone, we recommend you use a speakerphone so that others can listen too.

What support is available for users on Macintosh and Unix/Linux-based operating systems?This presentation incorporates advanced multimedia features that allow elements such as slides, polling questions, surveys, and application demonstrations to be dynamically sent out and synchronized with the audio and/or video of the presentation. Certain standard browser plugins do not fully support these features in combination with Macintosh and Unix/Linux-based operating systems. As support for these features further develops this platform will incorporate these operating systems in the future. With this in mind, using a Firefox Web browser in combination with RealPlayer will allow most Mac and Linux users to view the presentation.
